
ABOUT HECTOR SOSA
Hector was born in Los Angeles to immigrant parents from Mexico and Peru. When his family moved to Downey, Hector was in the middle of the 7th grade and has called Downey home since then. He has been a resident of District 2 for 25 years.
Hector graduated from Warren High School where he met his wife of 24 years. He went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and a minor in economics from Cal State University Los Angeles. Hector and his wife, Daisy, have been raising their two teenage sons here in Downey.
Hector has given back to the community in various capacities. For over 15 years, he volunteered as both coach and board member for the West Downey Little League and DJAA. He now serves many clients as a Financial Services Professional with New York Life.
